Assistant

My wife Kerri works Mon/ Wed/ Fri as my realtor's assistant. Kerri works primarily in the areas related to marketing listings such as: audio tours, feature sheets, MLS descriptions / write ups, virtual tours and processing the mountains of paper work for listings and sales. Kerri also coordinates showings and appointments so you may very well end up talking to her when you call the office.

Having met in the business we find it especially easy to communicate ideas and we are generally discussing work over the breakfast table anyway. The only logical choice was for Kerri to come back to the business after our youngest was born and having a spouse that can truly understand the bus. hours in this industry is certainly and asset.

Getting to know your Realtor

I was born 1968 in Edmonton, Alberta. And raised up north in Fort McMurry for the first part of my childhood. At the age of 12 my parents decided make a move to a warmer climate, Victoria BC. From there I ended up going to a boarding school in the small town of South Wales in New York state. I attended school there from grade 7 till I graduated. The school was called 'The Gow School'  and was structured around students who have dyslexia. After graduating from The Gow school I started university at Central Washington University, just East of Seattle in Ellensburg. From there, I transferred to Simon Fraser University in Greater Vancouver, where I graduated in 1993 with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics. After graduating, I continued to work for my father's construction company for another year, then decided to pursue a career in the Real Estate industry.

Family Life

Married to Kerri Anne Palmer on October 18 1997 at the Performance works building on Granville Island, followed by a quick but relaxing honeymoon in the Caribbean.

9 months later Kerri and I were blessed with their first daughter, Georgia Anne Isaak born at the Royal Columbian Hospital July 31, 1998.

Three Years later another wonderful daughter was born, almost on route to the hospital Delilah Everett arrived July 9th. 2001 to the delight of her parents and big sister.

Since the arrival of our second baby we have been very busy to say the least. I try to squeeze in as many family outings a month as possible. The Girls are especially fond of the Aquarium ,Granville Island, and big picnic hikes in the trails around our area.

Time Flies

Georgia and Delilah ( Lili to everyone, thanks to her Dad) are growing like weeds. Two sisters could not be more different. Georgie loves to paint, dance, and bake and our little Lili likes to wrestle, and jump off of large pieces of furniture. Georgia now attends Grade 1 at Anmore Elementary and Lili is in her first year of Pre- school at Friendly Forest. We consider ourselves very fortunate to be in an area with such fantastic schools, we try to be involved as much as possible. Kerri has taken on the co-presidency of the preschool with a good friend and is finding it very rewarding.

Georgia loves swimming and play dates with her girlfriends and Lili is involved in French and dancing at the moment, we may return to gymnastics as it seems to burn off more energy. This year our whole family will be skiing. Georgia was in snowboarding and ski lessons last year, this year Lili joins too so we'll all be on the slopes.

Personal Interests

Downhill Skiing

I have skied since I was about 5 years old. While I was in boarding school in New York, I raced Giant Slalom and was ranked 4th in Western New York. I really enjoy most outdoor activities and I am trying to recruit the kids into this West Coast way of life.

Mountain Biking

My obsession, I mountain bike year round through-out Greater Vancouver including North Shore, Burke, Eagle Ridge, and a few times a year Whistler and Sqamish. Although having raced in the past, I currently rides just for enjoyment around the numerous trails surrounding our home.

Interested in biking the Anmore trail, let me know I'd be glad for the opportunity to get out.

Bye for now!
